The whole reason that I created this site was to help those women out there that just needed those few tips and tricks to wrap up a already well prepared speech and also for those of you out there that just didn’t have any clue as to where to begin and how to word your speech properly.

Based on my personal experience, my dream is this site will have all the best maid of honor speeches tips that you are ever going to need. I know from personal experience how the days leading up to the wedding can cause enough stress and you don’t want this this hanging over your head as a burden. So hopefully these simple and easy to implement tips are going to help you to create your perfect maid of honor speeches.

Having had a good amount of experience now, and having gone through my share of mishaps… I really hope that the tips I’ve collected here on this site will really help you create a speech that will the guests at the wedding gob smacked! From personal experience I know that the days leading up to the wedding can be somewhat of a headache for the maid of honor, and you really don’t want the speech to become a burden when it should be something that you look forward to. Follow the tips below and you will have your perfect maid of honor speeches in no time…

Tip Number 1: Include Humor!

You really want to make a little effort to include some form of humor into the speech. Not doing so will result in your audience being bored and this is not what you want. Don’t go overboard but a few simple jokes that will have the guests laughing will be a great touch. Perhaps you could mention a funny story of something you did with the bride, or even crack a joke about the way the bride and groom met each other.

Tip Number 2: Include a touching story

There should be a sentimental element to your speech that includes story that touches the heart. Perhaps one that involves the two of you; this really is a great way to connect with the whole audience in a personal and intimate way. The guests are really going to appreciate the close bond you have between each other. I usually use the story of the two of us dressing up as kids, imagining how our real wedding would be like… and how we promised we would be each others maid of honor.

There are two of my best tips and ones that have really helped me make my maid of honor speeches a hit with the guests. But even with the tips, there were times when I just didn’t know how to put the speech together so that it would flow easily and sound good.

So one night, a week before the wedding I searched google (as you do), and came across this guide that claimed to help you write and put together the most perfect maid of honor speeches you will ever hear. As there was only a week to go to the wedding, and no other resources to help me put my speech together, I went for it.

I really am so thankful that I took that leap of faith…. The guide was just amazing and really helped me elegantly put together a great maid of honor speech that I and everyone at the wedding just loved!

If you’re interested, you can check out the books website here.

However while the guide was great at giving you straight to the point advice on how you should put the whole maid of honor speech together, there was one thing that I would have made it even better. And that is to have included some video demonstrations of some different people doing their maid of honor speeches. That way we would have some idea of the difference between a poor speech and a good one.

So if you take the time to really follow the tips that I’ve given you above and use the great maid of honor speech examples given in the guide that I strongly suggest that you check out… then there is no doubt that you’re going to give a speech that will be talked about for years to come!
